Abbe School of Photonics – Scholarships from the Federal Government of Germany

International students wishing to go for a Master at the Abbe School of Photonics can
apply for a scholarship, which is granted in cooperation with partners from the German Optics & Photonics industry, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the County of Thuringia.

Scholarships include a stipend of 715 Euro per month , covering of university fees, free local transport and health ensurance. In addition, one trip home per year and a language course are reimbursed.

Scholarships are restricted to international students. For 2009/2010 a total amount
of 50 scholarships is available for these students.
