UK – University of Salford  offers scholarships for international students. We have developed a range of scholarships and bursaries to support our international students. The university has been offering scholarships since 1896 but this year will see our largest ever scholarships package for international students, with over £750,000 assigned.

International Excellence Scholarship

The University of Salford’s International Excellence Scholarship is one of the largest scholarship schemes of its kind in the UK, with over £1,000,000 awarded in 2008. Each scholarship is worth up to £2,000.

In order to be considered for an International Excellence Scholarship (or South Asia Bursary), you should apply for any Masters course starting in 2009 at the University of Salford. Applicants will be considered on the basis of their academic qualifications only (including any qualifications currently being completed). English ability, personal circumstances, or work experience will not be considered.

The University of Salford has developed an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research. We have been awarding scholarships since 1896 in order to attract the best students to our courses. Our prestigious International Excellence Scholarship is intended to reward applicants to our postgraduate courses who have demonstrated excellence through their academic results.

• £ 2,000 for courses with fees over £ 9,000
