10.04Undergraduate Scholarships 2009-10, University of Teesside
UK - University of Teesside We offer two kinds of undergraduate student scholarship worth up to a maximum of £3,000 - £1,000 per year of study.
Excellence Scholarships
Excellence Scholarships recognise and reward academic achievement. They are awarded to students who achieve 320 UCAS tariff points from a maximum of three A levels (or equivalent) and who give a firm acceptance of our offer.
We do not count tariff points from AS Level or Key Skills. You don’t have to apply for an Excellence Scholarship - it will be awarded automatically.
Subject Scholarships
UK and EU applicants who apply or have already applied to study on an eligible course will automatically be considered for a Subject Scholarship. We will use the information you supply on your UCAS application, and in particular your personal statement, to decide who will receive a scholarship.
In some cases you may be invited for interview for a course and this will be used with your personal statement to determine eligibility. We are looking for students to demonstrate:
- enthusiasm
- commitment
- determination
- potential
Subject Scholarships will only be awarded to those who give a firm acceptance to our offer of a place.
Please note health-funded students are not eligible.
