University of Sheffield are pleased to offer Pure Science International International Scholarships to all students begin their studies at the Faculty of pure science, in September 2008.

The scholarships are valued at £ 2,000 per year each.

Eligibility criteria and award:
You must hold an offer of a place to study and start your studies in September 2008 in one of the following departments: Animal and Plant Sciences, Archaeology, biomedical sciences, chemistry, geography, information science, molecular biology and biotechnology, physics and astronomy, psychology, mathematics and statistics.

You must be classified as tuition fees for overseas.
The scholarships will be awarded automatically - no application is necessary in the first or subsequent years.

The scholarships will be awarded without conditions in the first grade. Price in subsequent years of the study is subject to the achievement of 60% overall average mark.
The grants take the form of a reduction in tuition fees.
