06.18ASEAN Scholarships 2009 for Indonesia
The ASEAN Scholarships aim to provide opportunities to the young people of ASEAN to develop their potential and equip them with skills that will enable them to confidently step into the new millennium.
The ASEAN Scholarships lead to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced’ (GCE ‘A’) Level (or equivalent) certificates. Outstanding students who perform well in the GCE ‘A’ Level (or equivalent) Examination may apply for the ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarships offered by the National University of Singapore, the Nanyang Technological University or the Singapore Management University.
The ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia is tenable for 4 years leading to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced’ (GCE ‘A’) Level (or equivalent) certificate.
The Scholarship is for studies in selected Singapore schools from Secondary Three to Pre-University Two and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.

I am an english teacher in pekanbaru Riau Indonesia, I work for an computer and english trainning centre and i’ve worked for six years, it is really essential for me to develop my skill and for that i need a serious help for gain scholarship to study overseas especially in English speaking countries, and as compensation i would like to work in even isolated area if it is needed

I’m already studying in Singapore and having my O level this year. I’m wondering how can i get a scholarship.since i read the criteria and i cant meet the criteria given.because according to what they give, we must attend 4 years of education. i only need the scholarship to go college after my O’s.

Im siska andriani. I just got my graduation on June 11th, 2008 for bachelor degree in Bogor Agricultural University. My field is Agriculture Engineering. My final research is about flouring at Juwawut Plant (Setaria italica (L.) Beauv) with Hammer mill and Disc mill.
I really interest to continue my study for master degree to abroad. The country where is my purpose like UK, Germany, Dutch and several country to support my master degree. Im interest to continue in Psycholog, Bussiness Relations, Environment or Agricultural Engineering.

I successfully completed a four-year Bachelor of Commerce (Special) degree in 2007 with a first class honors at University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Presently, based on the performance of my first degree, I was selected to work as an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Management Studies in the same University. This position involves both teaching and some administrative work related to the courses that are offered by the department. I do lectures and tutorials in most of the accounting course offered by the department including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Business Accounting for decision-making and Financial Management.
Currently, I am seeking the opportunities to pursue my postgraduate studies in Accounting. When I searched the Universities’ websites, I found that the master degree of Accounting Information Systems is more appropriate to my requirements and qualifications. Accounting Information Systems is one of the least developed areas in my University, mainly due to the lack of qualified staff to teach and research this subject. I believe that I could fulfill this gap by completing the master degree of Accounting Information Systems of your prestigious University. Further, studying at an International University will give me a highly recognized international experience and I believe that such exposure will be a valuable strength in my future academic profession. Furthermore, I could be benefited from the latest developments of the subject area and technology as a student from a developing country. Finally, I have a personal aim to complete a master degree and a PhD in Accounting, and this opportunity provides me a very good foundation to accomplish my personal goals.
My current monthly remuneration is approximately $100 and I will not be able to finance my graduate studies. My parents too do not have permanent jobs. Based on this ground, I shall be thankful to you, if you could kindly consider my application for the placement and scholarship in the master degree in Accounting Information Systems.
